PopOut is a 2nd year project from ICAN - PARIS
Made with Unity, the goal was to create a full game based on the space management in a constant filling environment

Description

PopOut is a 2D Arcade action Game, where the player must manage the invasion of Outer by placing Pop in the Arena, that will chase and destroy the Outer of the same color.
The player must manage the quantity of Outer in the Arena bellow a value until the end of the Timer

Mains Mechanics

Spawn :
    Entities named Outers spawn at an accelerating rate in a closed 2D space.
Those enemies have color Red/Blue/Yellow, and invade the game space

Player Mechanics :
     The Player can invoke Pop, in 3 colored versions, Red, Blue, or Yellow.

    The player can place Pop on the free space of the Arena, but has a limited stock, refueling by destroying Outer or waiting.

    The Player can unlock a Super Pop by destroying enough Outer, an iridescent Pop indestructible that will chase with high speed every Outer in the arena during a short time.

Chase Mechanics :
    Pop will chase and destroy Outer with the same Color by touching them then auto destruct
    Outer will chase Pop with another color and destroy them by touching them.

Controls

Playable with Keyboard & Mouse

The player can Select a Color by pressing the "1", "2" ,"3" key or scroll with mouse, move the cursor with the mouse and place with mouse buttons Pop in an Empty Space

He can invoke a special Pop if he has destroyed enough Outer, by spressing the "4" key and placing like regular Pop

Objective

Win condition : the Player manage the quantity of Outer in the Arena bellow an value during a certain time

Defeat Condition : The number of Outer in the Arena reach the Max
